It is time for a domestic wine tasting weekend! If you are not a wine drinker, WE NEED AND WANT YOU TOO!!!
We will be needing designated drivers (who will receive a bottle of wine for their service, or we can figure out another enticement), and there is so much to do over the weekend besides wine tasting…
We’ll be eating often, enjoying bbq’s, sampling fresh peach products (ice cream, pie, jams, etc), visiting the Garlic Festival, relishing in the cooler weather at our higher elevation, and stocking up on fresh produce at Apple Annie’s:

Peaches, corn, and watermelon will be at their peak and samples will abound. Many other vegetables will be available to pick or purchase while we are there. Don’t miss this opportunity to get some fabulous farm fresh (and ripe) fruits and veggies.
We’ll be staying 2 nights at the Triangle T Guest Ranch in Texas Canyon and the Dragoons: (photos below)

I booked both nights so you can spend more time at the Garlic Festival, exploring the area, and then relaxing in one of our casitas. You can also use the swimming pool or jacuzzi and spend some time horseback riding, hiking, biking, and birding. The area has so many opportunities so arrive early Friday and stay late Sunday.
They have offered to accommodate our entire group and we have all of the available casitas reserved for the entire weekend.
The full ranch style breakfasts are included both mornings at Triangle T and will be so worth it! Menu varies daily.
We’ll drive over Friday afternoon, enjoy dinner at the ranch, and stare at the star filled night sky as you are wearing a “jacket” (since it will be cooler).
After breakfast, we’ll walk out our door to the Garlic Festival. We’ll then visit Apple Annie’s for a great bbq with peach (or other) pie ala mode, some produce picking, and lots of sampling. Then off to our 2 favorite wineries for some excellent Southern Arizona wine tasting.
Then, back to the ranch for dinner and relaxation. Oh…if you don’t want to relax, the onsite saloon will be hoppin’ so you can party it up too.
Sunday, we’ll spend extra time at the Garlic Festival. They offer more wine, food, samples, music, and lots of vendor booths. 10th annual festival so they must be doing something right! Of course you’re welcome to head back to Apple Annie’s for more produce.
Our pre-trip mixer will be Tuesday July 24 at 6pm. Location to be announced to all confirmed participants. Please put this on your calendar now.

INCLUDED:
2 nights stay in a shared casita (casitas have between 1 and 4 bedrooms and at least 2 beds/room) and room tax
(single occupancy in a room will incur an additional charge)

Transportation to/from Tucson, Triangle T and the included itinerary: I will help arrange carpooling and designated drivers (all passengers will pay the driver for gas and are encouraged to chip in for the driver’s dinner)

Additional wine pourings after the allotted tastings have been consumed

50% deposit due within 1 week of rsvp. Final payment due on or before June 25.

All participants must sign a waiver. All monies are non-refundable. You must be a responsible drinker and traveler so others may also enjoy the weekend. Casitas may be coed.
