Taos, New Mexico 6 nites: Mid-week (no lines), Ski in/ski out condos, sledding!!

Taos is a beautiful and special place. I’ve been wanting to go for many years, and we finally made it there in 2020 (right before Covid).

Everyone loved our slopeside accommodations so it’s time to go back!!! I have planned it so we can be there when lift lines are shorter and the restaurants are less crowded.

This is a great price for slopeside accommodations with a full kitchen. The prices did go up a little from last time but are still very reasonable. I hope you’ll join us.

Please keep Tuesday February 21 at 6pm free for our pre-trip mixer. We will finalize rides, details, and the itinerary.

We arrive on Sunday with the caravan and stay till Saturday. You are welcome to arrive later or leave earlier: your bed and Condo will be waiting for you all seven days.

Our 2 bedroom 2 bath condos are right on the mountain so we can ski in and out each day and have amazing views of the slopes and the mountain from our large and plentiful windows, as well as our balcony. Hot tub and steam room on site too! Wood burning fireplaces inside:-).

When the skiing is officially done for the day, you can sled on the ski slopes right outside our window. We also found a couple great trails for snowshoeing and cross country.

Each condo will have a choice of a room with one bed (king or queen) and one with 2 beds (twins, trundle, or double combo). If you need extra room, there is a sleeper sofa for another friend. 1-2 people per room and 3-5 people per condo. We are not going to overfill any of our accommodations. Start looking for a roommate now or ask to be paired with one if you don’t want a single room or the sleeper sofa.

If you have several friends who all want to be in the same condo, I will allow the occupancy rate to go higher than mentioned here.

You will have your choice of a shared or private room, as well as the option to take the sleeper sofa. Your budget and preference will guide you. First to sign up and deposit gets the best selection. We have 8 condos this year since it was so popular last time.

We will have full kitchens for breakfast each day, lunch on the slopes or while you’re out snowshoeing or cross country skiing, and we’ll rendezvous for dinner in a restaurant (I’ll make reservations). Dinner time is when we will finalize our plans for the next day and determine who our playmates will be on the slopes or on the trail.

Taos is one of our Mountain Collective Resorts this season so get that pass asap while the price is reasonable. You’ll save some money and get in more skiing for sure! Salt Lake City is in January featuring Alta and Snowbird. Let’s use that pass!
Not everyone will ski each day so there will be time for alternative sports, events, and activities. Plus, we usually have a few non-skiers/boarders in the group. Plenty of snow options to keep us busy.

4WD vehicle is required to drive all the way to the condos. If you don’t have one, the complex offers a free shuttle from the Taos Ski Valley parking lot for you and your luggage to your building.

Non-member guests are welcome. If you recruit a new member who joins and goes on the trip with you/us, you will receive a $50 discount on your trip for each referral.

Shared room (twin, trundle, or double bed) $750 (8 available): 2 people/room
Sleeper sofa (private but in living room) $450 (7 available)

Note: for the living room sleeper sofa, you must put the bed away during the day since this is a public area for all occupants of the condo. This is one reason why the price is reduced. There is a bathroom/ shower on this upstairs floor.

DEPOSIT:
50% of trip cost due within 1 week of rsvp.

FINAL PAYMENT:
Due on or before January 1.

Prices are accurate at time of posting. Each person must sign a trip waiver to travel. All monies are non-refundable. Roommate assistance is available but success is not guaranteed. You must pay for the other half of the room if a roommate cannot be found. Non-smoking condos. No animals.
